Tamera Fillinger

Tamera Fillinger is a lawyer specializing in advising nonprofit organizations operating internationally. She has lived and worked in Singapore, Beijing, Jakarta, and Nairobi as well as San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York. In Singapore, she helped found a legal clinic for migrant workers, and in Beijing, she led a foundation focused on improving access to health care for low-wage women and their children. She also taught law school in Singapore and Beijing. In Nairobi and Jakarta, she served as a legal advisor to USAID’s development and humanitarian assistance programs across Africa and Asia. She started her legal career with Paul Weiss in New York, and currently works with Nathani Law Practice advising nonprofit organizations. Tamera received her law degree from UCLA and her BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
