Arpana Vidyarthi

Arpana Vidyarthi is a Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). For over 20 years, Arpana has worked in San Francisco and Singapore practicing medicine while teaching clinical skills, system change, and leadership. Arpana’s service includes strategic advising to Healing WELL, who promote wellness to residents of SF’s Tenderloin district and high school student leadership training for OneProsper International, an organization that aims to end female illiteracy in India. She also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Drew School in San Francisco, and previously at the Singapore American School. Arpana attended Macalester College where she studied Ethnic Relations. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her residency at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School, and fellowship in Hospital Medicine and Clinical Research at UCSF. She holds an Executive Masters in Change from INSEAD. Arpana, with her husband Rajiv and daughters Anaiya and Nika, enjoy travel, tennis, and scuba diving.
