Wellness Center
HPP’s Wellness Center provides groups, classes and one-on-one support to encourage healthy pregnancies and birth outcomes, while promoting bonding and parenting skills in service of healthy child development.
Perinatal Health Education and Support
The Wellness Center offers a holistic and integrated array of services designed to help clients deliver healthy babies, encourage parent + child bonding and acquire parenting skills that promote child development, including prenatal classes, group prenatal care, alternative health services (e.g., prenatal yoga, acupuncture, doula support), postpartum support, lactation consulting and family planning counseling.
Wellness Center Services
Prenatal Classes
Quarterly prenatal education classes culminating in quarterly community Baby Showers.
Centering Pregnancy
Group prenatal care offered onsite in partnership with the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Nurse Midwives.
Infant Feeding
Individualized and group support with a range of feeding topics including breastfeeding, formula feeding and transition to solid foods.
Parenting Classes
Child development classes and parenting support groups.
Family Planning
Support with family planning from certified health educators and the onsite New Generation Health Center.
Holistic Health Services
Prenatal yoga and other alternative health services.
Wellness Groups & Classes

Of babies born to HPP clients were delivered at a healthy birth weight.
Clients attended a wellness service, virtual group, alternative health service (yoga, massage, etc) or prenatal class.
Infant feeding and breastfeeding consultations were provided.
