Iris J. Fluellen

Iris Fluellen is a San Francisco Bay Area native with 30+ years of experience in nonprofit management, almost 20 as a development professional. She has worked for a variety of organizations including, the Asian Art Museum, the Nature Conservancy, UC Berkeley, the Museum of the African Diaspora (MOAD), Alive & Free/Omega Boys Club, the Public Policy Institute of California, and the San Francisco Parks Alliance. Recently retired from the San Francisco – Marin Food Bank, after directing their Capital Campaign and Institutional Giving, she is now fundraising consulting.
She has served on the boards of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, SOMArts Cultural Center and RAWdance, a contemporary dance company.
She’s a UC Berkeley graduate, with a Political Science degree and Social Sciences Teaching Credential. She resides in San Francisco’s Noe Valley, is a voracious reader, loves film, taking dance classes, cooking to her heart’s content and traveling.
