HPP is dedicated to racial equity both internally and externally.
Within our organization, HPP recognizes that systems of white supremacy and privilege have negatively impacted our families, staff, and the community, and we are committed to dismantling those systems. In our communities, HPP acknowledges institutional racism and oppression as a leading contributor to family poverty and homelessness.
HPP’s Equity Task Force, comprised of staff members from across the agency, continually works to develop action plans and implement initiatives in three staff-identified priority areas:
