Purpose & Philosophy

By seizing the motivational opportunity created by pregnancy and parenthood, HPP joins with families to help them recognize their strengths and trust in their capacity to transform their lives.

Impact & Recent Accomplishments

  • Since its founding in 1989, HPP has served over 85,000 families
  • Over 4,000 healthy and drug-free babies have been born to HPP clients
  • Since 1992, 3,475 families have been housed with help from HPP’s Housing Assistance Program
  • Since 1995, 186 women have graduated the Community Health Worker Training Program
  • $1.1 million in earned income tax credits and tax refunds obtained for families
