Your gift to HPP makes a significant impact on the 3,500 families we work with each year. Charity Navigator continually rates HPP with 4 stars, its highest ranking, indicating an organization that “exceeds standards and outperforms most charities in its cause.” Rest assured that HPP uses its resources wisely and effectively to make the maximum, long-term impact on breaking the cycle of childhood poverty.
Our programs and services are provided at no cost to families, and we rely upon the generous support of our contributors. We understand that confidentiality is critically important and we are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our donors.
General Fund: HPP will use your gift where the need is greatest.
Kate Ryan Fund: A fund named after HPP’s Founder’s mother, this fund is for special expenses that are needed but lie outside of the current budget.
Wellness Garden: A special fund to support the agency’s learning garden.
If you are interested in making HPP a beneficiary of an event or donation drive that you are hosting, HPP can customize a drop-down fund (for example, “Anna’s Baby Shower” or “My Company Gives”) so that you can easily track and thank donors.

Invest in a Family
Become a member of our Invest in a Family program and have a donation charged to your credit card monthly. Check the box on the donate page to indicate you’d like to make an ongoing gift.
Make a Gift of Stock
Gifts of appreciated securities may give you a tax deduction and reduce capital gains taxes, while supporting HPP. You can donate stocks, mutual funds and bonds, and receive a charitable deduction equal to the fair market value of the donated securities. To be fully deductible, the gifted securities must have been held by you for more than one year. Planned Gifts
Planned gifts help create a lasting legacy that benefits HPP families. Planned gifts are made privately in your estate plans. However, HPP would be honored to know of your intention so that we can express our gratitude in advance.
Corporate Matching Gifts
More than 7,500 companies offer matching gift programs to their employees and some offer the option to retirees. These companies match, double or even triple the amount an employee gives to a charitable organization. HPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, under Federal Tax ID #94-3146280 – your gift could qualify for a match.
